Alpha Chiropractic Clinic is a service based Objective Straight Chiropractic Practice. The focus of this office is to provide affordable chiropractic care to help you optimize your health and life so that you can live your life to its greatest potential.

I'm often questioned as to why I do not accept any health insurance or any other type of insurance or 3rd party pay at my office. The reasons as to why I do not are:

1. The standard and quality of care I provide is the highest I can possibly give you. Insurance companies are not willing to recognize that, nor will they pay for this high quality and quantity of care.

2. Insurance companies would require me to do procedures and tests that are not necessary for you to receive care at this office, wasting both your time and your money. My promise to you is that I will only do what is needed for you to receive care and refer you out to other doctors if you need anything more.

3. To accept insurance I would be required to compromise and limit my ability to provide the best care possible for you. I would be forced, in essence, to provide you with incompetent care. That is something I am not willing to do.

4. It has been shown that people who pay for their care on their own get healthier quicker and receive much better benefits from chiropractic care. I want you to benefit as much as possible from the care I provide for you.

5. Many people are losing insurance coverage and/or their deductible and co-pays are too high to realistically serve them as they need. Since it is illegal to charge an insurance fee and have a lower cash fee, I would be forced to charge everyone the insurance fee and those that didn't have insurance would not afford care. I am unwilling to exclude anyone from the care they need.

6. Most insurance does not cover chiropractic care for children. Again, I am not willing to exclude the segment of the population that chiropractic care can benefit and impact the most. It is, and always will be, easier and less expensive to grow healthy children than to repair damaged adults.

7. Insurance was designed for quick, short-term symptom and disease care and treatment. Chiropractic's objective, as practice in this office, is about improving your health and helping to enhance all aspects of your life. Philosophically and clinically those two objectives are incompatible and it becomes a contradiction to try and change one objective to fit the other. And as we all know, contradictions can only lead to disaster.

For those reasons and more, I have chosen to not participate with any insurance.

The great news is that by not having to deal with insurance companies, office costs are kept down, so I can offer everyone chiropractic care at fees that ALL people can afford.

TheHonor Fee System is utilized in this office so everyone family can afford the care they need. This unique and innovative fee system allows you to set your fee for care. It helps to remove the obstacle of finances in the doctor-patient relationship and allows me to focus on the "service" aspect of health care. Basically, this fee system also allows me to focus on what is most important - YOU!

I am seriously committed to allowing everyone in our community to get regular, ongoing chiropractic care for themselves and their families in an affordable, convenient, efficient and loving manner. That's why each practice member or family determines his/her own fee and deposits it into a box in my reception room.

Frankly, the service I provide is so valuable, no one could "afford" it. Ask yourself what you would be willing to pay to express your full potential from the day you are born to the day you die and you'll see what I mean.

I believe that the service I provide should be available to everyone and since different people have different abilities to pay, this fee system seems to be a good way of ensuring that no one is left out. I do expect that people will pay, but only what is within their means. I also expect people to tell others about my office and the service I provide.

WHAT ARE OUR FEES?
We do have some initial fees and some fees for those who do not want regular chiropractic care. Our fees are comparable with those charged more than 20 years ago.

Due to the confusion that sometimes results from the unusual nature of this fee system and the increased frequency of visits in the first month of care, there is a "suggested" 1st month fee for unlimited care of an individual or for a family.
Individual: 1 month unlimited care $160.00
Family: 1 month unlimited care $200.00

HOW CAN I POSSIBLY "CHARGE" SUCH LOW FEES?
Simple, by providing pure chiropractic care I eliminate all procedures that don't directly benefit your health and life. By removing these procedures and focusing on what you need I can save time and expense. Because of these savings I have reduced costs dramatically and can pass the savings directly to you.

WHAT KIND OF PROCEDURES DID I ELIMINATE?
Mainly bookkeeping and the insurance company hassle. A large amount of time and expense in a doctor's office is spent on bookkeeping and dealing with the insurance company protocols and hassles. I have eliminated these costs by not accepting insurance. I do not fill out any insurance forms or answer any insurance requests. Aside from these changes, I have eliminated many busy-work procedures to help reduce costs.

IS THE QUALITY OF CHIROPRACTIC CARE REDUCED IN ANY WAY?
NO!!! In fact, by eliminating much of the busy-work I am now able to focus on only one thing, YOU! At Alpha Chiropractic I believe in removing obstacles to the doctor-patient relationship. I remove the business aspect of care and return the "service" back into health care.

CAN I BE HELPED BY CHIROPRACTIC?
Life-sustaining messages are generated in the brain. These messages are carried to all parts of the body through the spine. Any interference with this process results in less than one hundred percent life and health.

The bones of your spine, the vertebrae protect the spinal cord and nerves. However, because the bones of your spine are moveable, they can - and often do - misalign. These spinal misalignments, called vertebral subluxations, interfere with the flow of life messages, diminish your ability to express your health and live life fully.
